Communication and expansion

Two new websites have been developed in Japanese to promote the Transcendental Meditation Technique and other programmes of the Global Country of World Peace.

From February to August 2009, an expansion campaign resulted in more than doubling the number of people learning Transcendental Meditation.

During the past year, a new government was elected to replace an administration that had been in power for about thirty years. The new Prime Minister and the Minister of Education both became aware of Transcendental Meditation in years past.
