New website features three presentations by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on Vedic Pandits of India

For 26 years, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi established a complete programme of training and supporting the traditional Vedic families of India—who have been the custodians of the Vedic knowledge from time immemorial. In India today, as a result of Maharishi's lifelong efforts, the knowledge of the Veda—the fundamental reverberations of Natural Law, the 'Constitution of the Universe'—is being preserved and re-enlivened by large groups of Vedic Pandits for the benefit of mankind.

Maharishi has trained his Vedic Pandits to a new level of proficiency and effectiveness in their Vedic recitation by re-establishing a high level of purity in their physiology and consciousness as the basis of their Vedic knowledge and its expression.

From this level of purity and integrity, these traditional practices become effective tools in removing negative influences and in bringing peace, balance, and prosperity to individuals, families, and nations. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO, has called the revived and restored oral tradition of Vedic chanting an 'intangible heritage of all humanity'.

On the website www.vedicpandits.org, in two short audio presentations Maharishi speaks about training Vedic Pandits to create harmony in society, and about Yagyas—powerful Vedic performances arising from the silent level of consciousness of the Vedic Pandits.

In a third presentation, on video, Maharishi speaks about using collective Yagyas to prevent the danger that has not yet come.

A progress report is also available on construction of the Global Capital of World Peace at the Brahma-Sthan (auspicious central area of the country) of India, fulfilling Maharishi's goal to establish a permanent large group of 16,000 Vedic Pandits, trained in and performing daily Maharishi's Technologies of Consciousness for the creation of world peace.
