Syrian magazine article features benefits of Transcendental Meditation Programme

A comprehensive four-page article on the Transcendental Meditation Programme was recently published in a Syrian magazine, the first of a series of articles on the programme and its benefits for all aspects of life.

The article featured commentary from four local Syrian practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation Programme, including a well-known business coach, a TV presenter, and the two National Directors of Syria for the Global Country of World Peace. In addition, the article included a series of photos of celebrities practising the programme, including filmmaker Dr David Lynch, actor Clint Eastwood, and director Steven Spielberg.

Raja Lucien Mansour, Raja of Invincible Syria for the Global Country of World Peace, highlighted the article in a report on his domain on 20 January 2009.

Among other things, said Raja Lucien, this article has inspired groups of Syrian TV actors and directors to learn the Transcendental Meditation Programme. 'A course is already being organized for a group of TV stars,' he added. As the first article on Transcendental Meditation to appear in a Syrian publication, it is bound to attract attention from the broader public as well.
