Living the Light of God, 'the common privilege of all mankind' - Part I

In a recent Global News Conference, Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, gave a beautiful talk on the significance and fulfilment of all the religions of the world.

Dr Morris said that the message Maharishi Mahesh Yogi brings to all the religions and devotees of the world, is that 'all the religions on earth are one united glory of God together. They are all like branches of one tree, and the root of that tree is the Light of God itself, which is common to every human being ever born on this earth, in whichever way they choose to worship or are taught to worship in their family.'

'We are all one united world family,' Dr Morris said, 'and every one of us has a physiology that is made in the image of God. Everyone has in the settled and silent state of our own consciousness, the ability to experience the brilliant, universal, omni-directional, blissful Light of God within.'

'It is the common privilege of every person in the world born with this human physiology,' he continued, 'to have this level of experience.'

Now is the time, Dr Morris said, with the dawn of a new destiny for everyone on earth, when every single religion will rise to its own fulfilment in the experience of this reality of the Light of God within.

Dr Morris said that every religion on earth will live the supreme tenets of its founder, of its prophet, of its own great teachers and saints in its tradition.

'There is a prayer that is common to the world,' Dr Morris said, 'which Maharishi often cites—Let Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.'

This is time that is now dawning, Dr Morris said. This is the new fortune of the human race—that the whole world will be living in accord with the Will of God, living the Will of God on earth as it is in Heaven.
