The National Leader of the Global Country of World Peace in Canada, Dr William Overall, who is also Founder of Invincibility for that country, announced on a recent Global Family Chat broadcast that the Global Country is establishing a network of radio stations. This new network will broadcast exclusively in the mother tongues of Canada's indigenous First Peoples, to reconnect modern life with its origin in Natural Law and bring peace and affluence to the First Peoples and the entire nation of Canada. The launch of the First Peoples' Radio Network is part of a global initiative launched by the Global Country in October 2005 to restore the mother tongues of every land.
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi explains that 'in each area on Earth, rivers, forests, mountains, valleys, deserts, coastlines, etc, there is a specific quality of Natural Law, and each area is governed by that specification of Natural Law which is expressed and given life in the different ancient traditional languages and cultures.' Maharishi has also said that when children in the school are not taught in the mother tongue it creates stress and strain on the brain, hampering the brain's full potential which leads to mistakes and suffering in life.
The first radio station, named Wabanaki Voices East, was inaugurated last week in New Brunswick, in eastern Canada, which receives the auspicious first rays of the rising sun in North America.
According to Dr Overall, these radio stations will broadcast songs, stories, and community news in the various indigenous languages of Canada, re-establishing the cultural traditions that are rooted in the Natural Laws of the land. By encouraging public use of the mother tongues through radio, the traditional languages of the lands will be kept lively, as spoken by the original people, and as a result Natural Law will become strengthened for the whole nation.
