On 18 August 2005 Fairfield Ledger reported: Maharishi Vedic City will inaugurate its first 'Festival of Healthy, Organic, Enlightened Living' this coming weekend. The festival will feature a number of tours including homes designed according to the principles of Maharishi Vedic Architecture's Sthapatya Veda, the Maharishi Vedic Observatory, and the city's organic farm and greenhouses. In addition, lectures and workshops, music, and an organic food fair will be featured.
