Young people join together to support world peace

Young people in Europe and in the United States are joining together to support world peace.

'There is a new revolution in business called wikinomics,' explained an organizer of the initiative. 'Wikinomics is about using the power of a large number of people to create something larger than life.'

Through this system hundreds or even thousands of start-up companies could collaborate to support those involved, as well as supporting programmes to create a better world. These could include support for coherence-creating groups of Vedic Pandits, Maharishi Peace Colonies,* and Consciousness-Based Education.

An international team of young practitioners of Transcendental Meditation and the advanced Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, have already started the project. This summer the first companies were launched in Fairfield, Iowa, USA and a conference for young people was held in MERU, Holland.

'So let's come together, be together, meditate together, think together. . . ,' the organizer said. 'Let's make a better world!'
