India: Global Mother Divine Organization achievements in 2008

Achievements of the Global Mother Divine Organization in India this past year include the inauguration of a beautiful new Peace Palace, the appointment of 10 Regional Directors, a Transcendental Meditation Teacher Refresher Course attended by over 50 ladies, and a meeting with a Cabinet Minister.

This news was presented by one of the Raj Rajeshwaris—Mothers of the World from the Sovereign Domain of Consciousness—during Part II of a recent Advanced Seminar* of the Global Mother Divine Organization**.

Ladies' Peace Palace
'The Global Mother Divine Organization Ladies' Peace Palace in Andhra Pradesh, India, was inaugurated in May,' the Raj Rajeshwari said. This beautiful, white Peace Palace was built by Dr Hema Reddy and will serve as a home for a Mother Divine Programme*** group, she said.

Regional Directors, Transcendental Meditation Teachers
India has ten Regional Directors of the Global Mother Divine Organization. The Directors were appointed from a very large delegation of Indian lady Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme who attended the Guru Purnima assembly in MERU, Holland in July 2008.

The Raj Rajeshwari also announced that a Refresher Course for Teachers of Transcendental Meditation was held in September and October in India. Fifty-three lady Transcendental Meditation Teachers attended the course.

Presentation to Cabinet Minister
In February, a delegation from the Global Mother Divine Organization met with a Cabinet Minister. 'It was a wonderful opportunity to give a presentation on Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's programmes,' the Raj Rajeshwari said, adding that through these programmes India could become 'Ideal India, the Lighthouse for Peace on Earth'.

Magazine features Global Mother Divine Organization
The September issue of Maharishi Sandesh—a beautiful magazine published by the Transcendental Meditation organization in India—featured the Global Mother Divine Organization in an eight-page section with many color photos. 'There will continue to be a Global Mother Divine section in each forthcoming issue,' the Raj Rajeshwari said.
