On 14 February 2006 The Jerusalem Post reported:
A new initiative in Israel to promote peace in the country and throughout the Middle East through the implementation of Maharishi's Vedic knowledge and technologies was announced this week at a press conference in Tel Aviv.
It is a joy for Global Good News service to feature this news, which indicates the success of the life-supporting programmes Maharishi has designed to bring
fulfilment to the field of world peace.
A new initiative entitled A Rule of Order, Strength, and Peace: The Actualization of the Constitution of the Universe in Israel's National Life, is being launched by members of the non-governmental organization, International Meditation Society, which offers programmes in successful administration to the leadership of the country. The Jerusalem Post reported that the organization is backed by 'a former, high-ranking intelligence officer, and specialists in healthcare, law, and education', and its programmes are supported by extensive scientific research.
The introduction of the new initiative is especially timely for the government, as elections are scheduled for 28 March. Political leaders are being offered the opportunity to implement Maharishi's knowledge and technologies for a peaceful, problem-free nation. The article quotes the director of the organization, Dr Alex Kutai: 'These principles can serve as a solution for problems ranging from terror, crime, and corruption, to education, healthcare, poverty, and unemployment.'
Every day Global Good News documents the rise of a better quality of life dawning in the world and highlights the need for introducing Natural Law based—Total
Knowledge based—programmes to bring the support of Nature to every individual, raise the quality of life of every society, and create a lasting state of world peace.
