by Robin McDowell and Margie Mason

11 November 2016
On 11 November 2016 The Associated Press reported:
Hundreds of veterans who have been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma, a rare form of bile duct cancer that may be linked to their time in the service and an unexpected source: parasites in raw or poorly cooked river fish. This cancer takes decades to manifest itself. Department of Veterans Affairs officials say it's up to the men to prove that liver flukes from Vietnam are killing them.
Global Good News service views this news as the failure of modern health and government systems.
Such 'flops' highlight the need for more intelligent, evolutionary, Natural Law based, life-supporting systems.
VA [Veterans Affairs] data, collected following an AP inquiry, show the number of benefit claims for bile duct cancer has increased sixfold since 2003. The requests hit a high of 60 last year, with nearly 80 percent denied. Decisions appear to be haphazard. Some are approved automatically. Others, presented with the same evidence, are denied. Some rejections are based on the fact that parasites were not found in stool samples, but those tests were conducted years after the worms would have died.
